What is Indonesia MobileMonday Peer Awards 2008?

A unique award program for all innovators in the Indonesian mobile industry.

Indonesia Peer Awards 2008 is closely tied to the Global Summit Peer Awards, giving the winnters a good international exposure. Winners of this award program will be selected not only by the jury but also by their peers.

The Awards have the following purposes:

1. To reward and recognize innovation and excellence in the Indonesian and global mobile industry;
2. To give light to the companies, individual developers and/or innovative products/services/technology that bring new ideas to the mobile industry;
3. To give international publicity on the innovations.

How to compete for the Awards?

Two things:

1. Meet the criteria for eligible applicants
2. Submit an entry

What is the criteria for eligible applicants?

Eligible applicants must be the legal owner of the Entry, or the person/company holding the Entry's economical rights to business use ("Owner") which established in Indonesia.

The Awards will have two categories for applicants:

1. Public/Company
2. Student/University

What Entry should be submitted for the Awards?

An Entry, in the frame of these Awards, is a product or a service that complies with the following criteria:

1. Have a link with the mobile industry
2. Be a completely new product/service/technology or to bring a concrete improvement to existing products/services/technology
3. Have a business model that could be developed on the global market
4. Be in its final form

What do the winners receive?

• Worldwide recognition, media attention and prestige.
• All winners will receive a separate, special "winners" icon, which can be used in own promotion activities.
• All winners will be invited to MobileMonday Global Summit in Kuala Lumpur in May.
• Other prizes from sponsors.

When is the Award program taking place?

Indonesia Round:

• Submission Period: February 1, 2008 - April 15, 2008 (closed)
• Nominees will then be announced and invited to present their ideas during the Peer Awards Night
• Candidate Shortlist Annoucement: April 28, 2008
• Jury : Mid May 2008 (tba)
